  • University of Notre Dame, South Bend, IN 1968 - 1972 Randy graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame in 1972, majoring in Management and ranking among the top 15% of his class. During his time at Notre Dame, Randy showcased his leadership skills as the Delegation Chairman for the 1972 Student Mock Convention and Hall Government Cabinet Head, actively engaged in student politics, and managed a substantial food service operation for his residence hall.


  • Indiana University Law School-Indianapolis (now McKinney School of Law), Indianapolis, IN 1972 - 1975 Randy earned his Juris Doctor from Indiana University Law School-Indianapolis (now McKinney School of Law) in May 1975. He served as an associate editor for the Indiana Law Review and as an instructor on the Moot Court Board, where he taught first-year Legal Bibliography.

Professional Background and Recognitions of Randy W. Young

Randy W. Young’s extensive legal career and dedication to community service highlight his professional and civic achievements. His journey began as a law clerk for the Honorable Joe W. Lowdermilk at the Indiana Court of Appeals in Indianapolis from May 1975 to April 1976. Prior to his clerkship, he contributed as a Legal Research Assistant at the Center for Judicial Education in Indianapolis from May 1974 to October 1974. Before establishing his private practice, Randy served as a Partner at Christoff, Cornelius & Young, Attorneys at Law in Fort Wayne from 1976 to 1980. Further demonstrating his commitment to community well-being, Randy held the role of part-time Youth Director at St. Vincent Catholic Church in Fort Wayne, Indiana, from July 1989 to September 1994.
